Intensive Care
The Intensive Care Unit provides 24-hour, high-tech, personalized care to critically ill patients. Critical care-trained registered nurses monitor acutely ill medical and surgical patients. Services include continuous nursing care as well as continuous or frequent monitoring of one or more vital functions. A variety of adult patients are cared for with the exception of burn patients and open heart surgery patients.
